Joanne O'Riordan

Joanne is one of seven living people born with Tetra-Amelia syndrome; a disorder characterised by the absence of all four limbs. She was named Rehab Young Person of the Year in 2012 and appears in the 2013 documentary, No Limbs No Limits.

Joanne was also named Top Outstanding Young Person of the Year for 2012 by Junior Chamber International (JCI) after she spoke before the United Nations addressing the use of technology and challenging the UN to create technology to help disabled people such as herself.

Joanne now focuses her time on sports journalism and delivering inspirational talks on ‘Living & Thriving’ to Global audiences.
